If you’ve already booked or set your heart on a family trip to Phuket and are not quite sure what to see and do on the island, let us help with our expert list of the top five family things to do in Phuket. We’ve scoured the island from north to south and coast to coast to find the best activities to put a smile on the faces of mum, dad, and the children. From zorbing to ziplining, you’re sure to find something fabulous to experience amongst our tips. Let’s jump on in to discover why this tropical island is one of the most beloved family holiday destinations in the world.

  1. Zorbing Rollerball

Let’s start with something unique and memorable – zorbing! If you’re not quite sure what this is, let us explain. Zorbing entails being stuffed into a specially designed plastic sphere filled with water and thrown down a mountain. While the experience is hard to define, the result is always the same, lots of fun and laughter. Suitable for all ages, this is a great activity for the whole family. Pairs (i.e., mum or dad and child) can together roll down the 190-meter-long hill in a frenzy of dizzy, watery fun.

  1. Splash Jungle Water Park

Of course, no family vacation to Phuket would be complete without a visit to a water park, and boy does Splash Jungle deliver! Located in Mai Khao Beach, this one is unparalleled in southern Thailand and offers the most bang for your buck. Under the watchful eye for professional lifeguards, your little ones of all ages can get wet’n’wild on 12 exhilarating water slides, rides, and attractions; one of the most popular of which is the flowing Lazy River, slowly meander 355-meters around the park in an inflatable tube.

  1. Flying Hanuman

Watch out Tarzan; you’ve got competition! Flying Hanuman is an amazing eco-friendly attraction for those who are looking for a real adventure. Here you can strengthen your courage and challenge your senses in a safe environment, knowing that you’re in the care of experienced instructors and using top-quality equipment from France. Once you’ve been strapped into your harness and attached to the zipline, you’ll be able to fly through the jungle canopy 40 meters above the ground, navigating obstacles and sky bridges along the course. The flight lasts from 1 to 3.5 hours, depending on which package and skill-level you choose.

  1. Trickeye Museum

Phuket Trickeye Museum is an interactive painting exhibition where art comes to life and offers unparalleled photo opportunities and great fun for the whole family. The venue houses a gallery of over 100 painted and sculpted trompe-l’oeil (`deceive the eye’) scenes; created with a clever technique that creates a 3D illusion on a flat background, in this case, the walls, floor, and ceiling. You and the family will be able to put yourself in fun, daring and downright hilarious situations. Imagine running with the bulls in Spain; hanging from a helicopter via a rope; sitting beside a zombie on the subway; crossing a rickety bridge over rapids, or getting punched in the face by Mike Tyson!

  1. Aquarium

Phuket Aquarium in Cape Panwa offers an afternoon of educational (all the displays come with detailed signage) and fun diversion for the whole family. Beyond tourism, this aquarium also houses the Phuket Marine Biological Center, dedicated to rescuing distressed local dolphins, dugongs, and turtles. Get up close and personal with thousands of different freshwater and seawater sea creatures in various shapes, sizes, and colors. Beyond the 30 main tanks, the biggest attraction is a 10-meter-long tunnel which you can walk through, surrounded by a swirling kaleidoscope of rays, snappers, groupers, wrasses, sharks and more.

We hope you’ve enjoyed reading this article about the ‘top five family things to do in Phuket’ and wish you and your family a great vacation in the Land of Smiles ?

International Pre-school in Bangkok https://www.bbncommunity.com/international-pre-school-in-bangkok/ https://www.bbncommunity.com/international-pre-school-in-bangkok/#respond Wed, 26 Feb 2020 17:10:59 +0000 https://www.bbncommunity.com/?p=23197

Enroll Your Child in an International Pre-school in Bangkok

With the world becoming ever more global in scope, understanding and tolerance toward people of many other cultures are required to function in today’s society. This is why enrolling your child in an international pre-school in Bangkok is so important for your child’s development.

Every facet of the world’s economy relies on people from many countries and cultures around the globe to function. With multi-national companies becoming the norm instead of the exception, and science and technological advances coming from all around the planet, your child needs to be immersed in a Bangkok international pre-school program to acclimate themselves to children from different cultures and beliefs.

Inclusivity Instead of Exclusivity

An international pre-school in Bangkok teaches inclusivity instead of exclusivity. It teaches your child that every person in the world matters and has something to offer. Children are tolerant by nature. They’re curious to learn about the people around them, and they don’t have any conception of justice.

Intolerance must be learned from the adults in their lives. But by exposing your child to children from many other countries and cultures in a learning environment, they begin to see every child’s value and look at them as individuals.

This concept of inclusivity also helps your child further on in their education. As your child naturally looks to anyone who can help them with their needs and goals, they begin to make friends and allies with like-minded people, instead of strictly people from their own culture.

This attitude of tolerance will serve them well throughout their career and help them succeed.

Recognizing Compassion

Children don’t need to be taught compassion, people are generally compassionate by nature, and this starts from birth. But children need to be taught to recognize compassion as a value to be appreciated.

It may seem like second nature to care about the feelings of others around them. But children need to be guided in establishing a set of values they can live by throughout their lives.

By developing a balanced and ethical set of values that recognizes every person in the world as being fundamentally equal, children can broaden their horizons in both their personal and work-related lives.

In the development of this set of values, an international pre-school in Bangkok seeks to give your child a head start in their ability to both communicate and contribute in a positive manner to whatever career path they choose to follow in life.

Developing Global Citizens

By enrolling your child in a Bangkok international pre-school program, you’re providing them with the chance to become global citizens. Global citizens who are comfortable working alongside people from many other cultures and being able to recognize the contributions of their peers.

These programs will serve to enhance your child’s ability to constructively contribute to the world’s economic and social growth. They will also serve to improve your child’s understanding of the world’s problems and become a positive force in helping solve those problems.

Best Accounting Software in Thailand https://www.bbncommunity.com/best-accounting-software-in-thailand/ https://www.bbncommunity.com/best-accounting-software-in-thailand/#respond Wed, 26 Feb 2020 17:03:01 +0000 https://www.bbncommunity.com/?p=23191 Get the Best Accounting Software in Thailand

If you’re working with a company that’s operating in several different countries, you need reliable accounting software where you can access your company’s data no matter which country you happen to in at the time. But the best accounting software in Thailand actually isn’t even in Thailand; it’s in the cloud.

This fairly new computing and data storage concept has upped the capabilities of accounting software and made it easier to access records and data wherever in the world you happen to be.

This means that for businesses with many offices around the globe, they can all use the same set of software. This removes the borders from around your company’s offices and makes your company’s accounting operations transparent and seamless.

The best accounting software in your Thailand office is also the best accounting software for your Malaysia office, and your Hong Kong office, and so on.

Borderless Operations

With the creation of the cloud as an innovative and solid concept of data storage and an application platform, a multi-national company becomes borderless. The head office only has to access the main accounting system to stay apprised of the accounting work of every other office in the world.

They’re able to access the data 24 hours a day and find the information they’re looking for in as close to real-time as possible. This can enable them to make critical decisions affecting the entire company worldwide with absolute accuracy.

For the Thailand office of a company, the best accounting software in Thailand offers streamlined accounting applications and tasks that enable them to go about their daily work as usual. They can issue invoices, pay suppliers and track customer receivables. They can generate hard copies of spreadsheets and reports. The difference is they can go about their work in the office or at home absolutely seamlessly.

Greater Control of Global Accounting

This new approach to accounting software is changing the face of multi-national companies and making them more proactive in their day-to-day accounting practices. They can react to market trends globally at once, instead of country by country. The head office of a company has the ability to decide where to focus their marketing and sales activities instantly.

With the ability of this cloud software to host payroll services as well, the company head office also has the ability to make management decisions that help individual branches and offices augment or trim their workforces.

Local and Global Abilities

The best accounting software in Thailand is also flexible. It can include formulae that apply to only Thailand. Tax laws, payroll regulations and accounting procedures that are relevant to only one country can be included in a business’s global accounting package.

This assures accounting managers from the Thailand office can access this data from anywhere in the world. The cloud concept of application platform and data storage is enabling both regional offices and the head office of a company to both work in accounting harmony for the company’s mutual benefit.

Truths about Data Recovery Software https://www.bbncommunity.com/truths-about-data-recovery-software/ https://www.bbncommunity.com/truths-about-data-recovery-software/#respond Wed, 26 Feb 2020 16:55:52 +0000 https://www.bbncommunity.com/?p=23186 Computers can be as painful as useful devices. Despite the great technological advances, there are some problems that are still common with computers. Power failures, energy fluctuations, spills, jolts, etc. They can make your computer useless. Your hard drives can start acting after such events, and the next thing you know is that your precious data disappears somewhere. Even if you are going to repair a hard drive, you will mostly end up losing data if there is a problem with the media. Of course, putting your confidential data in the hands of a stranger is also not something you want to do.

That’s when our file recovery software appears in the image. These are the programs that help you recover your data when you have lost it for some reason. It prevents you from allowing strangers to enter your personal data. The best part of this software is that they come to your rescue when things have already gone wrong. Most people have methods to prevent their data from being lost, but they can’t do much after losing it unless they have data recovery software. If you want to have data recovery software on your computer, these are the most important things to check:

Free trial/demo

The first thing you would like in any data recovery software is the ability to see how good it is. It will be a surprise if some data recovery software company does not offer a demonstration or proof of your product. With the demo or trial version, you can check how good the software is and how compatible it is with your computer. You want to make sure the software is now slow and does not make the recovery process too difficult. In addition, you can know the value of the product against its price through a demo or trial version.

Versatile Recovery

Your data recovery software must be designed to perform the recovery of files that have been deleted in different ways. If your software only recovers files that you had accidentally deleted, what would happen to those that were deleted due to some damaged partition?

Ease of recovery

First, there must be simple steps on how to recover your files. The best and best data recovery software usually comes with the recovery wizard that helps you recover your data without you doing much. It will ask you simple questions and, depending on your answers, will specifically search for the files and data you wish to recover. Another option that facilitates data recovery is the preview of your files; that is, you should be able to preview your files before recovering them.

Why is data recovery software important?

Data recovery is important because most of the data on your PC or laptop is valuable. But what is data recovery? It is the recovery of almost all data that has been accidentally deleted from your computer or erased due to a hard drive error, a virus attack, or an incorrect script. You can use DOS commands to recover data, but it will only be a partial recovery. So, the best solution is to have data recovery software that can recover the complete data or undo the loss.

The file recovery software is excellent when you have problems with the PC. From minor failures to system shutdowns, you can easily recover important files and documents. From photographs to commercial material, the program can recover saved files and folders. They have a wide variety of operating systems and can even work on your portable devices. If you work from home, you are likely to keep most of the documents on a disk. Whether the unit is integrated or external, you need reliable software to access this material in the event of a crash. A system crash does not necessarily mean that the entire unit cannot be accessed. There are situations in which certain components or areas have been affected. This could be due to a virus or simply because your firewall or antivirus software has expired. Unfortunately, this can result in malicious advertising or malware infections. They can attack your registry and really slow down your computer. Although antivirus protection is available, there may be times when more complex software is required.

EXCELLENT CRITICAL ESSAY WRITING GUIDE https://www.bbncommunity.com/excellent-critical-essay-writing-guide/ https://www.bbncommunity.com/excellent-critical-essay-writing-guide/#respond Tue, 25 Feb 2020 18:11:09 +0000 https://www.bbncommunity.com/?p=23165 The word critical is a derivative of the word critique which basically means to analyze and evaluate in detail a piece of literature or theory. The main aim of a critical essay is, therefore, to analyze and evaluate.

Critical essays can easily be confused with argumentative essays but the two could not be any more different. While both essays involve the writer putting forward their argument and convincing the reader of said argument. A critical essay goes a step further and offers the reader a much more detailed interpretation of the text being critiqued.

Among the many types of writing I have done over the years, accounting homework help and more specifically critical essays are my forte. In today’s post, I want to share with you my go-to guide when it comes to writing critical essays.

  • Understand the title or question

The first step in writing a critical essay is to clearly understand what it is exactly you are being asked to write on. This means that you have to read and understand the question and where possible seek clarification. In cases where you have been given a title to work with, the same rule of thumb applies. Always read and understand what is required of you before attempting to start writing.

  • What material are you working with?

Together with a working title, you will be assigned the book, text or film or really any material you are to write your essay on. Whatever material you are working with, it is crucial that you have a clear understanding of this material even before you begin to write your essay. Read through this material more than once so that you have a great grasp of the information it contains. You will need all the information you can get to write a great essay.

  • Identification before interpretation

It is vital that before you begin interpreting the idea being presented in the material you are analyzing you, first of all, identify said idea. Having a clear knowledge of what idea the writer or filmmaker of the material you are working with early on will be advantageous to you.

  • Further research

Let it never be said that doing further research on anything you are working on is a waste of time. On the contrary, taking time to research beyond the material you have been given to write your essay on will pay off immensely. Not only will this give you unique information to include in your essay. It will also provide you with a further understanding of the topic you are writing on especially if it is one you have never tackled before.

  • Prepare an outline

Once you are satisfied with your perusal of the material you are working with, the next step is to prepare to start writing. For this process, the first thing you need to do is sit down and come up with a general outline of what you want to include in your essay. This will be in the form of short notes which you can later expound on.

  • Impartiality

It is important to remain impartial when writing a critical essay. Avoid focusing too much on your own feelings towards the subject matter being examined. Instead, write on both the positive and negative aspects of the material you are analyzing. Ensure that your emotions on the subject matter don’t take center stage and instead remain unbiased in your evaluation. In short, let your essay be based on the facts and information contained in the material you are analyzing.

Finally, it goes without saying that proofreading and editing your work is a fundamental step when doing any form of writing. As a writer who has been working in this field for many years, I can assure you that proofreading your work is something you have to always do. If it gets to be too much for you, as always you can reach out to us and we will be glad to help you write your essay.

What Can I Do Near My Ratchada Hotel in Bangkok? https://www.bbncommunity.com/what-can-i-do-near-my-ratchada-hotel-in-bangkok/ https://www.bbncommunity.com/what-can-i-do-near-my-ratchada-hotel-in-bangkok/#respond Mon, 24 Feb 2020 18:04:18 +0000 https://www.bbncommunity.com/?p=23157

If you’ve already booked to stay at a Ratchada hotel in Bangkok, you may now be asking yourself, “what can I do nearby”? That’s an excellent question! Although it’s arguably one of the city’s lesser-known areas, compared to the likes of Sathorn, Bang Rak, Khlong Toei, Lumphini, Pathum Wan and Din Daeng, it is very much up-and-coming and has plenty to offer the intrepid traveler.

Once you start doing some research, you’ll quickly realize that Ratchada is both conveniently located to get out‘n’about across the city and also offers a lot of great activities right on your doorstep. Check out our following top four list, and you won’t have a shortage of fun ways to fill your days and nights in Ratchada.

1.Art in Paradise

If you like the quirky, unique and memorable, you’ll love Art in Paradise. This 3D art museum is located inside Esplanade Shopping Mall and features an extensive array of innovative artworks on the ceiling, floor, and walls. Here, you don’t just passively look at the art – you become the art! That’s right, you “step into” the artwork and pose as part of the piece. For example, get eaten by a giant shark, ride on a magic carpet and cross a rickety bridge in the jungle.

2.Bounce

If art isn’t your thing, how about bouncing? Say what! And no, this isn’t just for kids, it’s for adults too. Bounce Thailand, by way of Australia, is the ultimate in trampoline fun. Claiming to be Asia’s largest indoor jump park, it features 5,600 sqm of trampolines, divided into different zones. The large space features 80 interconnected trampolines on which you can free jump, tumble, and dive to your heart’s content. Once you get sick of that, head on over to the Dodgeball court for some more adrenaline-pumping action.

3.Siam Niramit

One of Bangkok’s most iconic and best-loved shows happens every night in the 2,00-seat Ratchada Theatre; it is the Siam Niramit spectacular stage show. This drama tells the illustrious story of ancient Siam (Thailand), encompassing its culture, religions, and history. Throughout 3 acts, almost 200 performers and amazing special effects, lighting and sound equipment will have you on the edge of your seat. Oh, and if all that wasn’t appealing enough, there are also elephants in the show too! You can see the show or opt for a show and dinner deal, including a Thai buffet feast before the gala.

4.Train Night Market

Situated behind Esplanade Shopping Mall, the Train Night Market Ratchada is a sprawling outdoor market open from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am every night. Here you’ll find an eclectic range of stalls selling everything from vintage records and funky T-shirts to knock-off handbags, iPhone covers, bonsai plants, and henna tattoos. There is also a staggering array of food available too, with everything from pad thai and meat skewers to pizza and pancakes available. And in the very back, you’ll find an assortment of old VW vans and shipping containers that have been turned into funky bars with live music.

Top 5 Tips to Shop Ladies Fashion Online in Thailand https://www.bbncommunity.com/top-5-tips-to-shop-ladies-fashion-online-in-thailand/ https://www.bbncommunity.com/top-5-tips-to-shop-ladies-fashion-online-in-thailand/#respond Mon, 24 Feb 2020 18:00:18 +0000 https://www.bbncommunity.com/?p=23154

Shopping online definitely has its perks – no waiting in line for the change room, no dealing with surly staff, and, indeed, no leaving the house at all! There is something intrinsically satisfying about shopping for clothes from the comfort of your sofa.

However, while shopping online does come with a lengthy list of pros, it also has a few cons as well. For example, that killer pair of skinny jeans that wouldn’t even fit your twelve-year-old self; the supposedly lime-green dress that resembles the color of vomit; and the too-good-to-be-true T-shirt deal that leaves you with wonky seams and dangly threads.

To save yourself time and aggravation (aka nasty surprises and hastily returns), read up on our five tips to successfully shop ladies’ fashion online in Thailand. Use our advice next time you’re shopping up a storm, and you won’t be disappointed with your order.

Top Five Tips

1] Know your measurements – Sizes vary depending on the brand, batch, factory and target market (Western fashion is often sized larger than Asian). This is easily handled in-store with multiple trips to the dressing room; but with online shopping, you don’t have that option. So, you’re going to need to whip out a measuring tape and take note of your current (no wishful thinking, ladies!) bust, waist, hips, and inseam measurements. And now, before you head to the Checkout, see how your handy new measurements stand up to the store’s size chart to help determine what size you should be ordering.

2] Read product reviews – The importance of customer reviews cannot be more overstated; these are invaluable real-world insights into how shoppers like you have perceived their order. For every piece you’re considering, take time to scan for comments, looking in particular for mentions about the size and fit, which will give you a good idea about whether or not the chosen item fits true to size, or if you’ll need to size down or up. Not to mention any ‘issues’, such as a dress being tight across the bust or a skirt fitting loosely around the hips. Also look for general mentions about the quality of the piece, in terms of the material(s) used and the overall finish.

3] Research materials – There’s nothing worse than finally receiving the dress you’ve been saving up to buy for months, only to find that the fabric scrunches awkwardly or feels itchy. Since you can’t touch the material in question, you need to familiarise yourself with different ones in advance. Go through your closet and find pieces that you love the most, in terms of how they look and perform. Do the same for anything that you hate. Make a note of the good and bad fabrics you’ve come across and used those as a reference point when shopping online. For example, if you know you love natural and flexible materials like cotton and bamboo, place those at the top of your list and avoid anything made with polyester and nylon.

4] Edit your cart – Online shopping is the land of impulse purchases, chiefly because you’re not physically totting stuff around a store. To avoid buying things you’ll regret later, ask yourself if it’s good value/quality, something you need, can be worn with other items in your closet and will stand the test of time (e.g., is it a fashion staple, like a little black dress or a trendy fly-by-night, like a poncho). One of the great things about shopping online is that you can save any items you like in your Wish List or Cart and go back to them in a day or a week after mulling it over. If you give yourself time to breathe and find that you’re still obsessing over that pair of tie-dyed skinny jeans that you saw last week, then go for it! If it has lost all its luster and you don’t even know why it went in your cart in the first place (hello, 50% off sale!), delete it.

5] Read the returns policy – Even if you’ve followed all our steps 1 through 4, there still might be the occasional slip-up, and you’re left with a lemon. You don’t need to keep such items and have them languish in the back of your wardrobe or attempt to palm them off on an unsuspecting younger sister. Before you order from any store (because each is different), you must familiarise yourself with their return policies. The most important things you’ll want to look for are whether or not they offer free returns; the window within which you can send products back; their policy on exchanges and full or partial refunds; if returns can be made via post or only in-store; is there any restocking fee; and how and when (time limit) store credit can be used.

Smart Lighting in Thailand Makes the Country Safer for Residents

‘Smart lighting’ is becoming a buzz phrase in the world of city planning and architecture. But what does it mean? Smart lighting in Thailand means increased safety for residents in public, commercial and private areas around the country. It also means utilizing the latest technology in lighting to considerable costs.

At a practical level, smart lighting uses the smaller lighting fixtures that contain LED lighting elements to increase an area’s illumination dramatically. The use of sensors and pre-programmed timers to turn these fixtures on and off is another aspect of smart lighting. But with the modern capabilities of digital technology, smart lighting can be controlled from a smartphone as well.

The creation of LED lighting technology has enabled the smart lighting revolution. The technology has meant that smaller and lighter lamps and lighting fixtures could be used in lighting applications. These applications once would have necessitated large, heat-producing, and expensive lighting fixtures. The fixtures also used a lot of power and therefore, were expensive to run.

Converging Technologies Enables Smart Lighting in Thailand

Sensors and timers have around for quite a while. But with the convergence of LED technology and digital technology, these sensors and timers can now be repurposed as elements of smart lighting in Thailand.

The streets of Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket Town can now be made safer for residents and visitors. Universities and businesses that occupy immense tracts of land can now increase the security of their grounds.

But the best part of the smart lighting revolution is that this safety and security is becoming so affordable, that taking advantage of it is an easy choice to make.

By combining the benefits of new LED lighting and digital technologies, with existing sensor and timer technologies, the concept of smart lighting became a reality that is both inexpensive and easy to accomplish.

Harnessing More for Less

One of the many benefits of LED lighting is it allows you to accomplish much more with a lot less. The ratio of illumination to size is much greater in LEDs than in incandescent lighting. This means that smaller LED fixtures emit much more light than larger incandescent fixtures. And they do it at a much lower cost.

This means that city planners, architects and homeowners as well around the country can harness the benefits of smart lighting in Thailand.

For architects and city planners, this means they can eliminate blind spots and shadows in a park or area surrounding business and provide an extra margin of safety and security to people using the grounds. The smaller, brighter and easily-installed LED lamps offer this ability.

Homeowners can turn on the lights to their home from their smartphone while they’re returning home, or control their lighting at home while they’re away.

The cost benefits of smart lighting in Thailand are undeniable and leading the way to a more efficient, safer and more secure tomorrow in the cities and homes of Thailand.
